Gorou is probably one of the cutest characters in Genshin Impact and he is here to join your party once again. He is stacked up with Arataki Itto, Kuki Shinobu, and Chongyun for his second limited-banner appearance.
Gorou does not need many resources to build like other characters in the game, but you still need to keep an eye on a few things while building him.
Gorou Basic Information
Gorou is a GEO (Bow) character from the Inazuma region first released in patch 2.3. His second limited banner dropped in phase 2 of patch 2.8.
He is one of the (if not) the best GEO support anyone can wish for in the game. He specializes in buffing the GEO teammates making him shine in MONO GEO teams. One thing to remember is Gorou becomes a great healer once he reaches C4.
Gorou is the courageous general of the Watatsumi Army.
Gorou Major Stats
Gorou’s role is to buff GEO characters and does not need any specific stat on him. In fact, the percentage of buff Gorou can provide does not depend on his stats but the level of his talent. His buff does scales from his total DEF but does not require high investment.

Being a fully-fledged support, Gorou does not require a weapon with high investments. But weapons that compliment his buff percentage or simply tackle his energy cost can be optimal for him.

Gorou’s English VA is Cory Yee who is famous for his voice for Hermes (Record of Ragnarok), Ludgar (Trials of Mana), Shaw Han (Destiny 2), Splinter (SMITE), and more.
His Japanese VA is Hatanaka Tasuku who is a well-renowned Japanese voice artist who has given his voice to many famous characters such as Reiji Mochida (Kuroko’s Basketball), Denki Kaminari (My Hero Academia), Satoru Nakae (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable),Flegel Reeves (Attack on Titan), Joseph (Mob Psycho 100 II), and more.
